Early access

Pricing

There is no price yet, because there is no product to charge for yet. Here is what that means concretely, and what will be priced when it stops being true.

Right now

Cost
Nothing. Early access is free, and no payment details are collected anywhere on this site.
What you get
GitHub analysis, a component inventory and a readiness report, as each of those becomes real. Figma reconciliation and MCP access follow.
What is expected of you
Connect a real repository and say what was useful and what was wrong. That feedback is the entire point of early access.
How long
Until the product is worth paying for. Early access participants will be told before anything is billed, with notice, not with an invoice.

What will be priced later

Most likely by workspace and by analysis volume, since that is what actually costs money to run: parsing repositories, calling models, and keeping a graph current. Seats are a poor fit for a tool whose value does not scale with how many people open it, so per-seat pricing is not the plan.

There will be a level that stays free. A single design system, one repository, and a readiness report should not require a purchase order, and a tool that measures whether design systems are AI-ready is more useful to the category if small teams can run it.

No dark patterns in the meantime. No trial that starts a subscription, no card required to see a score, no feature that quietly stops working. When pricing exists, it will be on this page in numbers.

Fair questions

What happens to my data if I stop using Onefold?

You delete the organisation and everything derived from your repositories goes with it. Nothing about your design system was ever locked inside Onefold: the components, tokens and stories stay where they always were. Security covers deletion in detail.

Will early access participants pay more later?

No. If anything, less. Connecting a real design system before the product is finished is a favour, and it will be treated as one.

Is this open source?

The product is not. Whether parts of the analysis layer should be is an open question, and one worth answering after there is something to open rather than before.

Get in while it is free and unfinished

Early access is the only way in right now, and the feedback loop is the product for the next few months.
