Onefold

Guide

Getting started with Onefold

Onefold is organized around products, not around tools. Everything below describes the workspace the first release is being built toward.

Add a product

A product can be a Mac app, a SaaS, a mobile app, a website, a newsletter or a side project you have not shipped yet. The product is the durable thing. Tools come and go underneath it.

Plan

Plan reads your GitHub issues and presents them as a roadmap: open work, milestones and what is blocked. Issues stay in GitHub, so anything you or a collaborator does there stays true in Onefold.

Concept

Concept holds the written thinking for a product: positioning, specs, decisions, launch notes. Documents are plain Markdown, so they remain readable in any editor and portable out of Onefold at any time.

Canvas

Canvas is an infinite surface for flows, architecture sketches and screenshots. It arrives after the first release, once Plan, Concept and Insights are solid.

Insights

Insights shows a small set of numbers that can change a decision, starting with PostHog. The goal is a handful of meaningful metrics per product, not a full analytics console rebuilt inside a Mac app.

Home

Home sits above every product and shows what needs attention across all of them. When you do not know what to work on, that is the screen to open.
